Nike Trash Talk
Nike and Phoenix Suns guard/environmental obsessive Steve Nash have come up with a new basketball shoe made from manufacturing waste. Ingeniously, the Nike Trash Talk ($100; April 2008) features an upper that's made of leather and synthetic leather pieces collected from the factory floor. In addition, the mid-sole uses factory scrap foam, and the outsole uses less toxic rubber and incorporates Nike Grind material from outsole manufacturing waste. [Thanks, Josh!] and uncrate.com
way to go Steve Nash
